When I was 12, I wanted to be the country music version of Alicia Keys.

I produced melodies, played every four-chord song on guitar, mixed tracks in Pro Tools and designed album artwork. Even before the days of Spotify and the streaming boom, I used the internet to host and promote my music. Thankfully, I realized that being an ambient-guitar slinging music producer was not my true calling, but born from this “spiritually-awakening” phase in my life was my love of music, technology, and my passion for the rights of creators.

I’ve always had a great admiration for the people that are brave enough to create and tell a story. That’s why I’ve always been attracted to mediums such as podcasts or talk radio. I love hearing about adversity and people’s ability to overcome the odds. That’s not to say I don’t love the guilty pleasures of pop-culture talk or a good audio drama. If someone has a story they want to share, they should know that they have at least one pair of ears ready to listen (Mine).

I have a passion for connecting people with incredible stories and music, from creating mix tapes for classmates to now establishing a career of my own.

My Style

I believe that personality is key in making a stellar team. Here's my work approach described in lyrics:

"People of the world unite,

strength in numbers we can get it right"

My Work: Creators First

I've worked in corporate offices, radio stations, and music libraries. I'm a creative person at heart, and I believe the projects below show my ability to showcase the works of creators and my endless pursuit for innovation.

WCBE Rewind was a web-series I did for 90.5 WCBE, a public radio station in Columbus, Ohio. I created, produced, and hosted each episode. The show featured guest(s) from throughout the station's history and focused on their careers since their first appearance at the station. Over the course of the series, it reached over 2,000+ listeners and many of the episodes still bring in many views to the station's website.

Live from Studio A Replay was another web-series done with 90.5 WCBE. The focus was to highlight some of the best in-studio music performances from the station’s history. I was in charge of the editing, mixing, mastering of each episode and uploading them to the website. I was able to re-invent the series to be a great promotional tool for both the station and the bands, and it helped increase engagement on the station’s social media pages. The series also helped increase traffic to the website by almost 30%.

Full episodes can be found on the station’s website.

In September 2017, I decided to share my love for podcasts by creating a website and social media pages dedicated to podcasts. I chose Spotify because I am fan of what they’ve done for the music industry. I knew a lot of those same principles could be applied to the podcast industry. I wanted everyone who had a story to be able to share it! I knew Spotify was just the place for that to happen. It is a service that is across all platforms. Everyone can use it!  There are several components to the website including social media accounts and newsletters.

You can learn more about why I am doing this, and how I think this could benefit both Spotify and their Content Providers here.

I am a proven creative problem-solver with a hunger to learn. With my attention to details and passion for creators, we can make beautiful music (and outstanding business results) together.

If you like what you see, let's connect and discuss the possibility of working together!
